You recognise vegan sweets by the Vegan mark. If a sweet carries this mark, you know for sure it is plant-based. Sweets without gelatin are in any case halal. But halal sweets do not necessarily mean they are vegan. Some sweets may, for example, contain beeswax or milk, making them not vegan.
